[xj-s] Shocks » I replaced the front shocks with KYB, one of the original had no fluid & no gas. The new ones are much firmer and I now drive over raised manhole covers for pleasure. Having changed the fronts the rears really felt soft and upset the balance when cornering, so one week later the rears got KYB’s too. $49 front , $69 rear. A huge improvement over stock.
